We had a fantastic evening at the Chapslee, party of 12 for a birthday celebration. The food is delicious, well cooked and fresh. The service is quick and always with a smile. I would definitely recommend for a take-away or an evening out.

We have just had an amazing meal. It was lovely to see the original team who used to have the Chapslee in Dunmow high street. The presentation, atmosphere and waiting service was first class. A vast and varied menu. Served with smiles. The food was served hot, tasted divine and not floating in fat, every dish tasted so different. With a patio area outside it was so nice to sit and have coffee outside in the sunshine. HIGHLY RECOMMEND . We will definitely be returning and passing the word around. Chapslee is a great restaurant for dinner with friends. We had mixed opinions on the food. The saucy dishes were great, the grilled dishes were too well done and tough. Attentative service and overall quite decent value for money

A very special way to celebrate my 50th. Very good attentive service and the food was out of this world. The following morning we were still reminising on the beautiful flavours and we will definately be back for more. A truly special night out.

great stuff. I've eaten tons of Indian food all over the world, including plenty in India. this is top stuff and this place is a hidden gem in a slightly precious, overpriced area. the service was solicitious but not overstated, the food was a delight, and when I arrived on a cold and quiet March night, the manager had a draught beer, popadums and chutneys in front of me in a flash while I waited for my late arriving dinner companion. I really enjoyed the chicken jal frezi in particular. keep up the good work!

Chapslee is amazing. Fantastic food, great, quick service with reasonable prices. We order their food for takeaway quite a lot, never eaten in the restaurant but we're going to soon. Good sized portions, lovely staff. Highly recommend this restaurant
